Units: acres, bigha, guntha…
Lengths and areas in the units you use, down to the one on your deed.
Choosing units
In Settings, Units and formats: the distance unit, the area unit, the coordinate format (decimal degrees, degrees-minutes-seconds or UTM). On automatic, the app follows your country. Tapping the value on the map changes the unit for that screen only.
Land units
Metres or feet, hectares or acres, and local land units: guntha, cent, bigha, katha, marla, kanal, ground, the Bangladesh bigha, rai, feddan, dunam, mu, sotka, manzana, tsubo, pyeong, jia, square vara.
Your own unit
If your unit differs from one region to another, create it: Custom unit, a name and its size in square metres.
Composite display
Composite display writes an area in two units, the way it is said on site: 1 ac 40 dismil, 1 ac 12 guntha, 2 bigha 5 katha, 3 kanal 12 marla; and in three for the rai: 2 rai 1 ngan 30 wa².
The converter
Unit converter, in the menu, converts lengths and areas between all these units, with the compound value under each line. It also holds the Planting calculator: plants = area ÷ (row spacing × plant spacing).
